Rui's first day at SNGS

Rui started her first day at P1 on 4 Jan 2011. I was so excited I couldn't sleep well the night before, waking up  countless times to check the time. Ben was equally emo. He kept staring at Rui in her uniform and letting out wistful sighs. I guess, both of us are just very touched to see our little girl all grown up and ready to tackle the world.

It was a great first day. Rui enjoyed her school life thoroughly and is excited about everything the school has to offer, even homework!

I guess as parents we tend to feel emo when we see how fast our kids have grown up and how they will have to develop their independance to take care of themselves when parents are not around them.

Parents will get so proud of our children when they start buying their own food in P1 and as they start taking responsibility over their studies.
