After our exciting hike on the Wallace Trail last weekend, we are tempted to go hiking again.
This time, we ventured on to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. There were a couple of trails to try out but as we had gotten there rather late (10+am) we decided to try a simpler one for a start.
The boardwalk we got on led us to a very interesting playground, crafted out of wood and designed to fit nicely into the natural environment. There were the usual slides and swings that we are used to seeing as well as climbing structures that the public can get to try on. There was also a flying fox structure!
We trekked through the forest to get to a rope bridge. As it had rained earlier, it was rather slippery and we crossed it gingerly. We were really glad we made it to the other side.
We will return. The next time, we will check out the other forest trails.
